This is an international seminar for newcomers to the EVS world. It is specifically directed towards new organisations and projects in the European Voluntary Service - Action 2.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to send and receive volunteers to and from across Europe, through Action 2 (EVS) of the Youth in Action programme. The seminar will teach participants about the theory and philosophy of the Youth in Action programme, and will also equip them to begin preparing their first EVS projects. You will get to visit already existing EVS projects around Bonn to gain a first-hand experience of what the programmes are like. The seminar will also help to raise awareness of issues surrounding intercultural diversity.
Participants contribute 100Eur towards the costs, and this will provide them with food and accomodation. This fee is payable to your respective National Agency. Please also contact your National Agency to find out whether your travel expenses can be reimbursed.

This seminar is aimed at project managers and youth workers, who are working with an organisation or project which is new to the EVS world (Youth in Action; Action Point 2).
