Core Group Meeting

The Pool of Representatives (PoR) consists of 33 young and motivated people who regularly represents EEE-YFU in various external activities. This is a very important part of EEE-YFU's advocacy work.

Each PoR member has a "mentor". The mentors are experienced PoR members who support and give advice to the other members and the seven mentors together form the PoR Core Group. Apart from supporting other members, the Core Group has regular contact with the EEE-YFU Secretariat and gives valuable advice on how to develop the PoR.

Despite the regular Skype contacts, the Core Group had never met in person prior to this. During this first meeting, several PoR-related topics were discussed. Examples include:

• How can the learning experience of PoR members be improved?
• How can the contact between the PoR, the EEE-YFU Secretariat and the National Organisations be improved?
• How can the effectiveness of the PoR's work be measured?

The meeting took place 22-25 September in Mollina, Spain.
