Statutory Meetings

Each year the European YFU community meet for two different meetings, taking place at the same time. The European Conference (a meeting organised independently by European YFU organisations) takes palce alongside the General Meeting, and it is here that the European YFU organisations put forth their nominations for candidates to be part of the EEE-YFU Board. The candidates present themselves at the General Meeting where the elections take place and the elected candidates are chosen to become members of the Board.

With the General Meeting, YFU organises a European Conference which all European YFU National Organisations participate. It serves primarily to coordinate and facilitate the intra-European exchange programmes as well as to pursue any other common interest of the European YFU organisations.  At this conference the European YFU National Organisations meet to share information about YFU programmes, projects and developments at a European level.

This year, the General Meeting, European Conference and the Operational Meeting were hosted by YFU Lithuania and took place in Vilnius. The dates were 4-6 November for the EC/GM and 7-8 November for the Operational Meeting.
