Assistantship in Adult Education and Intercultural Learning - Call for Applicants

Description

The EEE-YFU office in Brussels is seeking someone to conduct research for them on adult education and intercultural learning.  The position is for a period of between 6-10 months, and applicants should be avialable to begin on 1 August 2010.

Where? The position will be based at the EEE-YFU secretariat in Brussels, Belgium.
When? The assistantship will last for between 6-10 months, depending on the availability of the applicant.  Applicants should be available to start working on 1 August 2010.
How much? Travel and subsistence costs will be covered by the Grundtvig Assistantship grant.  The successful candidate will be offered support by EEE-YFU in applying to their National Agency for this grant.
Language(s) A good command of English, both verbal and written, is essential for this position.
Participant Profile

Applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

  • Good command of English (including written);
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, internet, email);
  • Good organisational skills and independence;
  • Must be involved in adult learning or have a degree that will lead to a job in adult learning (this is to comply with the Grundtvig Assistantship grant criteria).

The selected candidate will be notified by Wednesday 24 March at the latest.  Following from this, the successful candidate must apply to their National Agency for the grant by 31 March 2010, attaching the supporting letter from EEE-YFU.  Support in writing the grant application will be offered by EEE-YFU.
