YES 2003 - "Social polarization, conflict resolution and European identity"YES 2003 was carried out on the subject of "Social polarization, conflict resolution and European identity". It took place in Lenk, Switzerland on June 28 - July 2. The broad educational aims of the seminar were to give the participants a framework of reflection to keep building upon their intercultural experience. It also aimed at giving the students tools to recognize conflicts and to solve them. A wide array of working methods was used. Plenary sessions and workshops served the purpose of discussing theoretical contents in a playful way. An interactive hike, during which participants could enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the camp site, also served the purpose of learning about theoretical content. The more relaxed atmosphere was clearly fostering interesting discussions and productive work. Furthermore, the free time during the evenings and breaks was at the participants disposal for intra-European exchange of ideas.
