IRS 2004 - "Mediation as a way to solve Intercultural Conflicts"

The IRS in 2004 dealt with the topic "Mediation as a way to solve Intercultural conflicts" and took place on the Polish/German border (Slubice and Frankfurt/Oder) on September 27 - October 3. The participants found the topic very interesting despite not having any specific experience on mediation techniques. They had the opportunity to confront themselves with the different nature of the conflict as well with the possible solutions of the conflicts.
Furthermore, the IRS also enabled the participants to gather practical experience by making several exercises and using a variety of mediation techniques and tools.
IRS 2004 can be described as a successful and a very useful experience for all participants.
